What Do You Wear on Zoom?

Zoom tops

Remember getting all dressed up to go out — to birthday parties, dinner dates, office holiday gatherings? (We don’t, either.) These days, festive dressing has taken on a different shape…

Zoom tops are the new version of “going out tops” — pieces that help you feel put-together, or make an everyday occasion a little more special. Whether it’s for a work meeting, a holiday gathering, or catching up with friends and family, here are some of our go-to tops to throw on with jeans or leggings (or heck, even pajama pants) and instantly look polished.

Patterns are one of our go-tos, especially in easy neutrals. This windowpane check peplum top looks great with jeans, black slacks, faux leather leggings (the list goes on). We also love the cute back buttons.

How amazing is this pleated blouse? With its floaty silhouette and shimmery metallic dots, it’s perfect for virtual holiday gatherings or Zoom cocktails. Anne, above, wears it with this tinted lip balm in deep, which makes your whole face brighter.

Bright colors look great on camera, which is certainly the case with this Liberty print blouse.

To round out the look, Anne paired it with Palais Royal lipstick, for an extra pop of color. Cheerful hues help make your face look more vibrant, which is very welcome for early meetings.

Last but never least, for lounging and chatting with family and friends, there are few things better than a classic chambray shirt. The collar makes it look polished, while the chambray is as comfy as can be. Here, Anne paired it with this lip pencil in Rikugien, for a subtle hint of color.

What tops have you been wearing the most these days? Do you have any go-to Zoom looks?
